About us

Nalbari Eye Hospital  was started in the year  1996. Since  it’s  inception the hospital  is serving  to the  poor and underserved   people  of entire lower Assam. People from  Bhutan and  neighboring   part of West Bengal  also  come  to this  hospital  for  treatment regularly . 

The Hospital has   24   hour emergency   services    with  state of the art  Operation theatre. Routine  Eye Operation is  done  daily.

  The Community outreach  programme  of the hospital   is  designed as  Vision Under tree. The  Hospital  sets up an unique  outdoor set up under  tree  at most remote part  of the  locality. Through  this  project  hundreds  of free  Eye Operation has been done  since   last decade

  The  hospital  regularly   organizes  Scientific seminars and  workshop  . The  last  one  was  Live  surgical  workshop on SICS and  Keratoplasty.  Dr  Debashish  Bhattacharya  and  Dr Anita  Panda  were the  two  resource    persons for the  workshop.
